Returning to School Again

Lucy poked her head out and made sure everyone had returned to their rooms before she quickly ran towards Susie's room, clutching a pillow.

Knock, knock, knock...

She gently knocked on the door and whispered, "Sister, open the door."

Grandma didn't allow her to sleep with her sister because she was afraid that she would keep her sister up at night by chatting, and both of them wouldn't be able to sleep well.

When they were growing up, Alana insisted that they all had to go to bed early.

So she had to come secretly.

The door opened quickly.

Susie said, "I knew you would sneak over!"

Lucy giggled and quickly darted into the room, closing the door.

Then, with a shout, he jumped onto Susie's bed, pillow in hand, and let out a contented "ah".

"Sister, how many days are you staying this time?" Lucy asked.

I turned around and rested one hand under my head, looking at Susie.

Susie relaxed her whole body, stretched out in all directions, and said with her eyes closed, "Let's go back after the exam, there are still many things to do!"

I was very busy! The underworld couldn't go on without her for a day!

Lucy said, "Well... have you finished reviewing? It's okay if you don't do well on the test! I'll give you extra lessons in the future."

Susie opened her eyes and looked at her with doubt, saying, "Are you sure you won't lead me into a ditch?"

Lucy resolutely said, "No way! Even if I accidentally fall into a ditch, I would never let you fall into it. If by any chance I do fall into it, I will definitely be the first one to go down and cushion your fall, so you won't get hurt."

"Haha!"

The two sisters laughed happily, which was different from boys. Sisters could lie together at midnight, accompany each other with laughter in childhood, and perhaps share secrets and worries that they didn't want to tell others when they grew up. This is something that the role of a brother can never replace.

As they were chatting, Susie fell asleep without realizing it.

Lucy was also extremely tired, but she forced her eyes open, reluctant to sleep, and still wanted to hear her sister tell stories about the underworld.

Some peculiar cases of people reaching Yama Palace after death are discussed, explaining how to defeat the King of Urban and how to strike the King of Life.

Lucy really enjoyed listening to her younger sister wreaking havoc in the underworld, and she herself was very envious.

But I was really tired...

Before falling completely asleep, Lucy randomly pulled Susie's blanket and tucked her in tightly. She then hugged her inside the blanket and gently patted her.

"Don't catch a cold..."

Muttering to herself, she fell asleep and unknowingly kicked the blanket aside, resting her feet on Susie.

"Hoo... Hoo..."

The cold wind was blowing outside, but the Murray's residence was warm inside.

The next day.

Susie woke up groggily and felt something crawling on her face.

As I opened my eyes, I found Lucy's palm.

"Get up..." Susie pushed with her eyes closed.

Lucy turned over and said, "Just five more minutes of sleep."

Suddenly, the door slammed shut and Alana's voice rang out, "It's time to wake up!"

"I told you not to look for Susie in the middle of the night, now both of you can't get up!"

"What time did you go to sleep last night?"

Lucy, who was quick-witted, immediately turned over and sat up. "I'm up! Grandma! I have already gotten up, look how awake I am!"

She opened her eyelids with both hands.

Susie: "..."

Alana glared at her with a displeased look, her lips curling up slightly, pretending to be serious. "Get up quickly! You have five minutes."

The two sisters rushed to change clothes and wash up.

I went to school after having eaten.

Susie sat in the classroom again and suddenly felt like she was in a different world.

"Susie! Wow, you finally came! I thought you wouldn't come for the exam!" The first person ran up to Susie and asked, "Do you still remember me?"

In order to be friendly, everyone felt that calling her Susie was too awkward, so they all started calling her Susie along with Wade.

Susie nodded. Her memory was so good that she could remember every ghost that had passed through the human realm.

What about your own classmates?

"Good morning, Clement!" Susie said.

As soon as Clement heard the news, he became extremely happy. Allison also arrived, "Susie! You're back! The exam is tomorrow!"

Other classmates quickly gathered around. "Susie, have you finished reviewing? Do you want us to teach you?"

"Without you, our crazy trio, the Iron Triangle, was missing one person!"

Clement said, "Go away, who's crazy with you! We are the hardworking group preparing for the college entrance examination! There are still over three thousand days left until the exam, how can you still have the mood to play?"

The crowd: "..."

Everyone laughed and were very happy when Susie returned.

Only Mia was a little unhappy. Last time when Susie came back, she used to be the favorite of the class... not exactly the favorite, but everyone liked her at least.

Now everyone, however, ignored her.

Mia bit her lip and dared not misbehave anymore. However, only she knew how sour, how miserable, and how unfair she felt deep down in her heart.

Ally and Mia didn't play together much at this time. The adults at home didn't allow it, saying that Mia had a bad character.

But couldn't help but say, "Hey, as soon as she came back, there were so many people surrounding her, it was really annoying."

Mia whispered, "It's nothing, don't worry too much about it."

Ally glanced at her.

Mia said earnestly, "Studying is the top priority! Let's study hard!"

Ally: "..."

Mia, however, really made great efforts.

Susie hasn't come back for a semester already. She doesn't study or go to school, and the previous courses were easy and not much.

Now, it is uncertain whether one can keep up.

She dared not provoke Susie again.

However, she must have performed better than Susie and surpassed her!
