The Citadel of Ash: A New Dawn
By Sophie Martin
Synopsis
After the Global Contamination Event (GCE) ravaged the world, turning fertile lands into toxic wastelands, former architect Marcus Thorne stumbled upon a miraculously preserved, subterranean complex beneath the ruins of Berlin. Armed with blueprints salvaged from a pre-GCE vault and driven by a desperate hope, Marcus rallies survivors to rebuild a semblance of civilization within the 'Citadel of Ash'. As the Citadel grows, drawing in diverse factions and uncovering forgotten technologies, Marcus must navigate treacherous alliances, fend off mutated hordes, and grapple with the ethical dilemmas of wielding advanced knowledge in a broken world. His ultimate goal: to reclaim the surface, establish a unified European Federation, and confront the looming threat from the celestial anomaly that heralded the GCE - a threat known only as 'The Obsidian Eye'.
